We are a family Team based around our son.  Steven Wills started the basics of karting at Buckmore Park International in the MSA Bambino School, were he successfully passed all three levels.  He used Zip Bambino Karts with the Comer C50 engine.  This enabled him to take part in timed heats, were he began to pick up the basics of racing lines and competitive motorsport.  At the age of 8 he moved into the Buckmore Park Junior Club and the Sisley Racing School.  He achieved steady positive progress each and every meeting.  This accumulated in him achieving a 2nd Place Trophy against seasoned older and more experienced kids, who were Buckmore Park specialists.  This achieved in the torrential rain and very poor muddy track conditions.  Steven was doing consistently well in the club.  He decided he wanted to take the leap to owner driver, and we were lucky enough to have inherited a 22 year old Zip Chassis and a Comer S60 Engine, thanks do Dannie Pennell at Dadson Motorsport. He has been practicing at local circuits Caxton Raceway and Ryehouse, Whilton Mill & Kimbolton.  Having to work hard on an old chassis to try and keep up with more seasoned racers with much newer competitive equipment but this has been instrumental of his training.  We are extremely fortunate to have acquired a new 2011 Zip Lightning Chassis, thanks to Ethan Hawkey.  Steven naturally enjoys karting, and living life within the motorsport community, which the family has been doing for many generations.  We understand we have a long way to go, and are playing the long game, we are sure that if Steven continues he will achieve his dreams, the level at which he participates will be determined by his focus and dedication to the sport.  We are always eternally grateful to all those that have inspired and help us with technical knowledge and those people are, Martin Hines who has been inspirational through his own career, but also would help with his knowledge whenever we asked, sadly he passed away recently, but will never be forgotten. Simon and Nick at Wright Karts, to Ian Shaw, from Zip North, The Zip Young Guns & All-Stars teams and drivers are a huge inspiration for us as a team, Steven is now proudly working with Luke Hines & Oliver Rowland in the ZIP All Stars Team driver development programme, which is a big step for us.  We are hoping that Steven's development will move on more quickly with added benefit of working with the best people in the industry and racing against a much higher calibre of professional driver.  We are now concentrating on MSA racing, at Whilton Mill Circuit, and hope to race at Kimbolton and Ryehouse in the near future.  Practice makes perfect and we will be doing lots of it.
